Acer has recently recruited a new chief marketing officer (CMO), Michael Birkin, chairman of marketing service company, Red Peak, to assist the company to reconstruct and strengthen its marketing team as well as help plan a new strategy for promoting its brand. At the same time, Acer also invited Dell Taiwan’s ex-director of R&D, Josephine Tan, to join its marketing team, according to sources from the upstream supply chain.
The sources pointed out that the new CMO will be station in Taiwan starting December.
