Audi appoints Jeri Ward as the first-ever Director of Customer Experience

Jeri Ward has been an employee of the automotive industry for over 20 years, but it was just recently that she was named the first-ever director of Customer Experience for Audi.

Jeri Ward  is to build loyalty and create Audi fans through various customer insight activities, panels and programs. As Ward leads this new team within Audi of America, she says it is her roots that have given her the ability to become a successful businesswoman.

Ward has a bachelor’s degree from Kettering University along with a Master of Business Administration degree and a Master of Engineering Management degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Her career began with a focus on engineering, but through the years she said her positions were taking her farther away from the customers; and it was them who she wanted to get back to.

In March 2007 Ward joined the Audi of America team as the general manager of marketing communications and product launch; prior to joining this automaker Ward worked for Ford. Then in 2008 Audi and Ward relocated to Virginia where she assumed the responsibilities of interactive marketing and served as the general manager of customer advocacy, interactive marketing and launch strategy.

While Ward oversaw several areas of marketing, development and communications, she and other members of Audi knew the customer experience needed more attention.

In addition to leading consumer insight activities in her new role, Ward will also lead the Audi Drivers Circle online owner panel, launch the Voice of the Customer program and will oversee all enthusiast clubs and the Audi Customer Care Call Center operations.
