ASI and DubMeNow form partnership for iMIS Mobility Solutions

Advanced Solutions International(ASI), the developer of iMIS software for member and donor-based non-profits, today announced a partnership with DubMeNow, Inc. to deliver customisable mobile applications for iMIS customers. This will allow members and donors to connect and access up-to-date content on their smartphones and other devices.

Built using DubMeNow’s Powered by DUB platform and tools, these mobile applications will initially support Apple’s iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, Research in Motion’s BlackBerry and Google’s Android platforms. These native applications may be downloaded wirelessly from these vendors’ respective application stores.

The current Mobile Membership for iMIS release includes six member-focused application modules:

  • Profile with my phone numbers, website URLs and physical email and social media addresses
  • Directory for quick access to other members and staff
  • News about the organisation and industry
  • Events to view events and session calendars and register
  • Important Numbers for organisational contacts
  • Info for background information about the organisation and navigation help.

Through development partners signed up through ASI’s iXtend Program, new social networking features are planned for member discussions, messages and contacts; while additional staff-focused features are planned for dues, donations, commerce, financial reporting and history.

The  Texas Medical Association, an organisation of over 45,000 physicians, was the first ASI customer to use the integrated iMIS-DubMeNow platform and applications. Alan Atwood, Director of Technical Information Systems at Texas Medical says, “Texas Medical has been working with DubMeNow to create and distribute an iMIS-based mobile membership application for the iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry platforms. DubMeNow has shown they are thoroughly knowledgeable in mobile application development and has easily adapted their background with higher education institutions to our membership-based association.  DubMeNow has assisted us in all aspects of the project from design and development to marketing and distribution.  We are extremely pleased with what we have created together.”

“Not-for-profits have already widely adopted smartphones as part of their daily routine; now they will be able to engage with their constituents anytime, anywhere via their mobile devices. We’re very pleased to be able to offer DubMeNow’s innovative contact platform to our Asia-Pacific customers,” said Paul Ramsbottom, Managing Director, ASI Asia-Pacific.

“We’re excited to be working with ASI and the nearly 3,000 iMIS customers on their mobile products,” added Manoj Ramnani, founder and CEO, DubMeNow. “We’re approaching a massive inflection point in mobile computing worldwide and not-for-profit organisations are primed to take their content and networks mobile to boost awareness and member retention.”
